Sunny Foods Group began with a simple idea: make authentic ingredients easier to find.

When our founder, Sunny, arrived in Australia from Vietnam in 1978, he struggled to source the seafood and ingredients needed to recreate the flavours of home. That experience led him to open his first fish shop in 1991, supplying authentic products to local communities who shared the same challenge.

What started as a small family business has grown into Sunny Foods Group—a national supplier specialising in Asian frozen food within a broader portfolio of multicultural cuisines. Today, we scour the globe to source premium, hard-to-find ingredients that are essential to creating culturally authentic recipes. By making these niche products accessible in Australia, we help families, chefs and food businesses recreate traditional dishes and enjoy a true taste of home.
