Moules Frites – A Classic French Favourite Made Easy with Premium Frozen Mussels

Looking to bring a little French bistro magic to your table? Moules Frites is one of Europe’s most iconic seafood dishes—and it’s incredibly easy to prepare using Sunny Seafood’s premium frozen mussels. Steamed in fragrant white wine, garlic and herbs and served with golden fries, this restaurant-style classic is rich, comforting and guaranteed to impress customers.

Ingredients
400g butter
1 bottle of white wine
150ml chicken stock
100ml cream
100g butter
1 lemon
A bunch of parsley (leaf chopped, stems used for sauce)
Fries
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
In a pot, melt the butter on medium heat. Add the garlic, shallots and parsley stems and soften but do not let it brown.
Increase to high and add the wine, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Add the mussels and cover and shake until the mussels just open.
Remove from heat and remove the mussels.
Return the pot to the heat and bring to a boil and reduce by quarter. Add cream and lower heat to a simmer. Stir occasionally until sauce slightly thickens.
Take off the heat and add the butter and stir until incorporated.
Add mussels to a bowl and add the sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve with fries.
